Privacy Policy
Summary: L1 Pro Master Fader does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no internet connection, no user accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. The only information stored exists locally on your device and is never sent anywhere.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Stage Remote ("we", "our", "the developer") handles information in connection with the mobile application L1 Pro Master Fader ("the app") available for Android and iOS.
The app is designed around a principle of minimal data use. It communicates exclusively with the Bose L1 Pro speaker system via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and does not connect to the internet for any purpose.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
L1 Pro Master Fader does not collect or transmit any of the following:
- Personal information — no name, email, phone number, or identity data
- Location data — no GPS, IP address, or location tracking of any kind
- Usage analytics — no session tracking, event logging, or behavior data
- Crash reports — no automatic crash reporting to any server
- Device identifiers — no advertising ID, IMEI, or hardware identifiers
- Audio data — the app controls volume levels via BLE; it does not access your microphone or audio streams
- Contacts or files — no access to your contacts, photos, or file storage beyond app-private storage
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The app stores the following information in private app storage on your device. This data is never transmitted, backed up to a cloud service, or shared with any third party:
- Channel names — custom labels you assign to input channels (up to 10 characters each), saved so they persist between sessions
- Volume positions — the last-used fader levels for each channel, restored when you reopen the app
This data is stored in the app's private storage directory and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.
4. Bluetooth Usage
L1 Pro Master Fader uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) exclusively to communicate with your Bose L1 Pro speaker system. No data transmitted over Bluetooth is stored, logged, or sent to any external server. The Bluetooth connection is local and operates entirely between your device and the speaker.
The app requires Bluetooth permission to function. It does not use Bluetooth for location scanning, device discovery beyond your paired L1 Pro, or any purpose unrelated to speaker volume control.
5. Internet Access
The app does not require or use an internet connection. There is no server, no API, no cloud backend, and no network communication of any kind. The app functions entirely offline.
6. Third-Party Services
L1 Pro Master Fader does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data processing services. There are no third parties that receive data through this app.
7. Children's Privacy
L1 Pro Master Fader is a professional tool intended for adult musicians and live performers. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
