Connect to your speaker in the Bose app and confirm that it controls the speaker. Keep the Bose app open.
StageRemote finds the speaker and connects. When the status shows CONNECTED, the faders go live and show the speaker's current levels.
Only after StageRemote shows CONNECTED. Do not close the Bose app before StageRemote has connected. The same steps are shown on the start screen when you open StageRemote.
Use the channel faders and the master fader, hold MUTE for one second to mute, tap TALK to speak without reverb, and save or recall Scenes for each venue.
Follow the connection order above exactly: speaker on → connect in the Bose app and keep it open → open StageRemote and wait for CONNECTED → then close the Bose app. Keep the phone near the speaker, and make sure no other phone or tablet is controlling the same speaker.
The faders only go live once the app is connected. Tap the connection status to retry, and confirm no other device or app is currently controlling the same speaker.
That is by design. MUTE needs a continuous one-second hold, so an accidental touch during a song never silences you. Your channel levels stay where they are while muted.
One tap removes reverb from your vocal channel so you can speak clearly between songs. One more tap restores the reverb exactly as it was. TALK never changes your reverb settings.
Scenes save channel names and levels. Loading a scene replaces all channel names and levels; the master fader is not affected. Scenes do not store EQ, ToneMatch or effects — those stay in the Bose app.
No. The app works entirely offline over Bluetooth. It never sends anything to the internet.
No. StageRemote does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Your scenes and settings are stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy.
The app controls the Bose L1 Pro series (L1 Pro8, L1 Pro16, L1 Pro32) and Bose S1 Pro+. It runs on iOS / iPadOS 15 and later, and on Android 8.0 and later.
